The Georgia Straights is a tug boat that lies in 60' of water off the Los Angeles breakwater. The wreck is broken down quite extensively with only the bow and stern still standing. The diesel engine block is intact. This is a small wreck. Visibility can be anywhere between 0 to 10 feet.

It was a private vessel owned by a couple who were living on it full time. It sprung a leak and during a coast guard rescue was inadvertently sunk during the rescue. A real sad tragedy. Contact Herb at diverwreck@bigvalley.net for more info.
